Brenna FRASIER

Ph. D.

My research background falls primarily in the study of ancient DNA as a means to address questions of species diversity, population structure and demographic history, particularly in species that have been extensively hunted. I am currently managing the genetic aspect of a project examining marine mammal remains recovered from archaeological sites around the North Atlantic.

I also focus on scientific and outdoor outreach and education, coordinating annual maritimes-based youth camps (marine mammal summer campforensic science camp) and acting on the board of a local forest school.
